Jakarta Hotels Association has once again conducted the Employee of the Year competition in 2017. 15 finalists selected based on their essay test result with subject “Key Factors to Improve Jakarta Tourism" and passed the interview by a panel of judges from JHA Executive Committee, Jakarta Tourism Office and Perhimpunan Hotel & Restoran Indonesia (PHRI).

Satria Quartama Gimara from The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place has succeed became the 1st winner and will receive a Tourism Summer School in Barcelona-Spain, followed by Riezha Safira from Hotel Mandarin Oriental Jakarta Place as 2nd winner to receive a 3 days/2 nights trip to Bali. 3rd position was achieved by San Sukrilanwar Supriatna from The Dharmawangsa Jakarta to enjoy an electronic appliances as the reward.

This remarkable program was completed in September 2017 with certificates and gift vouchers presented on 27 September 2017 in Gran Melia Jakarta by JHA Vice Chairman – Mr. Richard S. Mau and Employee of the Year Head of Committee– Mr. Kanit Sangmookda. This program is dedicated to create opportunities and a better prospects for Associates in Jakarta Hotel Industry, especially a positive impact to the winners.
